Not to pour cold water on the great news of a new release but I was one of the many, many voices some months back who got 'done' by the Ten re-release and swore never to buy anything agin of Ten Club due to the crazy charges, mishandling and late/lost goods. As big a fan as I am and can't wait for the new material I can't in all good conscience pay over my hard earned to Ten Club for these new releases after the experience of the last time. Anyone else agree or have anything to say on the matter?

Somebody please tell me the mighty 'Pearl Jam' haven't covered the Coldplay number speed of sound on the new album. This would be terrible because Coldplay completly Suck ASS. I'm hoping this is a bad dream...........
Anyone know if the vinyl comes with a digital download? It sounds beter when you spin the black circle, but that doesn't work so well in my car.

Agreed. I purchased 7 "free" holiday singles and paid 7 separate lots of postage for each one. I would hate to think what each of us fans actually pays toward the band. Then when you see stuff like this and the classic scenario of Amazon.com selling the Ten deluxe package for cheaper than 10 Club. We are all suckers for our love of this band and their music.
I realize no-one is holding a gun to my head to buy this stuff but I can't help but feel a little cheated and exploited.
The single sounds great...can't wait till 9/20. Bummed out about not being able to get tix to the PA shows...Just wait for the boots to hear what I missed.
The album better not sound like the new single, it's simply rotten.
I don't mind The Fixer. It's a different sound for PJ; a bit more polished, a bit more produced...OK, it's radio friendly, but it sounds good. I can give my PVR a break now and stop playing Got Some from the Tonight Show and listen to this for a change.

I blew it by not getting tickets through ten club's pre sale offer. now ticketmaster has raped me and a friend who always meet up in San Diego for live PJ. the cost of seeing the best band in the world from the way back is heartbreaking. smiling at the thought of seeing and hearing the new, priceless...can't wait!
