Feeding America is excited to announce that Pearl Jam has produced an exclusive one-hour radio special to be aired on Entercom radio stations Tuesday, October 13th at 12:00 pm PDT in conjunction with the launch of the new Feeding America PSA. Markets and stations set to air the broadcast include WAAF (Boston), WTPT (Greenville), KQRC and KRBZ (Kansas City), WMMM (Madison), WKBU (New Orleans), KNRK (Portland), WBZA and WCMF (Rochester), KRXQ (Sacramento) and in the band's hometown on KISW and KNDD in Seattle. To aid Feeding America in their important efforts, Pearl Jam has also created a special limited-edition Backspacer t-shirt in conjunction with eco-friendly clothing company, Loomstate. Designed by famed cartoonist, Tom Tomorrow, T-shirts are available now at select Target locations and at target.com. Feeding America anticipates that the $30,000 donation from Pearl Jam and Loomstate from the sale of these shirts will translate to roughly 210,000 meals nation-wide.
In addition to the t-shirt partnership, Pearl Jam donated $1 per paid ticket from their two, sold-out hometown shows to Seattle Feeding America affiliate, Food Lifeline. Target matched this donation.

Oh no!! I just entered the contest for the trip to see PJ @ the Spectrum. I read the official rules and you have to be a resident of certain states to win. I live in Ohio (not on the list). Major bummer.
Will the radio special stream on the internet?
I'm in Chicago, but I looked and one of the Seattle stations streams live: http://www.1077theend.com/ According to their website you can listen live from that website and they show that they will be playing the takeover at 12:00 PM Seattle Time (2:00 PM Central Time).
Crap! I entered too, and Nevada is not on the list either...there's only 16 states on the list! What kind of crap is that?! 2/3 of America isn't eligible! Oh well - I already had a trip to California planned for that weekend anyway!
Im Streaming thanks to nummah but id LOVE to have this radio segment on CD for my own collection!!! I cant sit @ the computer all day BC i gotta work! This sucks! Hey 10C this would be a cool Bootleg or Special somehow if it could be done! Come on guys you can do it! Id love to own this! I spent WELL over 200$ on the 2009 Boots already... Not complaining tho. Id love to own Em all & hopefully ill have the $ to!!!
Maybe it could somehow be available on iTunes?.?.?. Ive been downloading the 16 part podcast on iTunes & its awesome! Think its up to #8 & its FREE!! Cant beat that!!
