Red Feather Development Group is celebrating its fifteenth year of building sustainable homes for American Indian families. In honor of this milestone, Pearl Jam has donated a rare Wandre guitar signed by each member of the band (Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron) to be auctioned off online in support of Red Feather's mission. Click here to view the auction at charitybuzz.com Auction Closes on Friday December 12th More on Red Feather Development Group: Through individual home projects with native families, Red Feather brings tribal members together to teach affordable methods of straw bale home construction, responsible home maintenance, and sustainable energy use. Meanwhile, Red Feather nurtures leadership among proactive tribal members and fosters skills that encourage confidence, increase community member participation, and provide increased opportunities for cultural exchange among native and non-native volunteers. With education at the root of each project, Red Feather envisions a time when its staff can support, but not lead, community-organized projects - a fundamental, self-sustaining plan for the future. Visit www. redfeather.org for more information. Wandre Guitar: This Pearl Jam guitar is a rare WANDRE STD with 5-ply body binding and a WANDRE signature headstock logo. Wandre Guitars were originally designed in the early 1960's by Wandre Pioli in Cavriago, Italy.

Speaking as a Native American...

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for everything you do!

What an amazing organization. First Nations in Canada also deal with dire housing conditions. I wonder if they would consider expanding to the north... Meegwetch Pearl Jam!

what a cool thing to do pj, Some cool bands in Australia should do this for our homeless natives.

Things were different then. All is different now... =C
