I met Eddie (by accident) at Easy Street Records in West Seattle, they were open late because they were selling Mariner playoff tickets and Eddie was answering the phone for them, at least he answered a call or two while I was there talking with him. I told him about going to the Golden Gate Park show in S.F. which he got sick after 6 songs or so and Neil Young finished up with the rest of PJ. It was so hot, over 100 degrees, it was no wonder he got sick. He was so nice and wrote my name down on a piece of paper and said that he would leave me 2 tickets to their upcoming show in San Diego which he did out of the goodness of his heart. Anyway my fiance' and I flew down to San Diego not knowing if there were tickets there or not but sure enough, not only was he very cool and laid-back when I met him, but he also has a great memory, as he left 2 tickets dead center in the 7th row. The show was fantastic, they played forever and the crowd adored them. Unbelievable set-list and an unforgettable experience. At the time, it was the longest show that I had seen them play. Thanks Ed, we haven't had the chance to thank you personally, but you and the band treat your fans extremely well. We owe you a beer or two sometime. Thanks again!
My 1st Show. Passed up a chance to see Sublime in a small club. No regrets here. I've seen 'So You Want to be a Rock n Roll Star' every time they have ever played it. This started it all. lol.

This show was GA, the earlier you got there, the better seat you had. The floor was SRO. There was no "dead center 7th row".
