Hands Down the best show I have ever seen, Pearl Jam or otherwise. The Youngs, Frampton, Death Cab guys and Tim Robbins for Rockin in the Free World. Wish i could get a live recording of this. Ill never forget Corduroy.
I definitely agree that it has to be one of the best shows I have ever seen. The entire show was like a big friendly sing along. It all ended way too soon for me...even though I still had a 3 hour drive home.
My seats were behind the stage that night as they sold the entire arena. Between encores I saw a man walking, all I could see was a white silhouette. I looked at my friend Nate and elbowed him saying, "That's him!" He responded, "No way." But sure enough he was introduced as Neil Young. The concert was a part of the Vote for Change tour and ending the concert with Rockn' In The Free World was frantic. To this day it is still the best concert I have ever been to.
Still remember Ed trying to rock the PA and fell off stage, ament,Mike and stone were laughing their ass off. I had seats behind stage and dam that dude who caught that FN tamborine, cause if he would have missed it it right in my flight path. After the show i wanted to get backstage so when they were picking up the floor chairs i started carying chairs back behind stage but thats as far as i got cause i was pretty smoked after pounding those huge beers they were serving there.
