So, will the lyrics be put up when Ten is re-realesed?

You should be happy with what you got...
You should be hard to be a brother...
You should be happy with what we give you...

Hand over my face. I am related to my enemy.
My house on fire,
And my big brother come put the blame on me.

He's a-pushin'...I'm being pushed from above.
Oh, and a brother, back to back to back,
Better back off of him.

You should not questioh at all his authority...

Use a flag as a bandage.
Stick 'em up, show us your pocket hypocrisy.
In the closet, my pleasures
'Cause my big brother don't want to just let me be.

Oh, and I'm pushin'...oh if I could get above...
Oh, and a brother back to back back,
Keep your back off.
Oh, and I'm pushin'...I'm being pushed from above.
Oh, and a brother, back to back to back,
Better back off of him...

Face down...brother...
Face down... [3X]

In my mind there's a clearing.
Black clouds flow through grey still skies.
And the birds don't even whisper.
I'm flying out...I'm flying...

Back to back back, better back off...
Back to back to back, a better, better, better...
Back to back to back, back to back back...brother...
Face down...brother...
Face down...
Face down...brother...
Face down...almost...fired...
Face down...I got a gun...
Face down...
I got a gun...I got a gun...
Face down...I got a gun...
Face down...

Aah, fuck it, I'm just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin' TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

Sorry, these are not the right lyrics???

These lyrics were correct for the old '91 version, I think it's the one that was on gremmie for all these years. The new version, however, has slightly altered lyrics, with the word "sister" in the song at points, as well as some other noticeable alterations. Oh well.

I like the version above better than the one on the ten re-issue, musically and lyrically.

Lyrically, I'm a little confused with the addition of the lines "little sister." They seem a little unnecessary for what this song is about, but hey, I didn't write the song, so far be it for me to judge their choices for the song.

exactly... you can't make a judgement on the lyrics. they mean, what they mean to the writer. given the opportunity, eddie probably did some revisions to the lyrics, like all writers do. i personally think it is a relevant song musically and lyrically. i am proud of this song, it sounds amazing with its complexity. its like full circle, sounds old but new at the same time. can't wait to hear it live.
s. love forever.

the new lyrics are more optimistic.

a much more positive song.

Awesome song was so pumped when i heard it kinda cool to hear both the instrumental and one with lyrics on the reissue. Both have their own feel to them.

How would you be if you were in the audience at Florentine Gardens on Feb 7, 91......

CALGARY..............You lucky BASTIDS!!!!

I was there...... But i really have no words, i remember talking to the dude beside me and he said something like, " i really hope they play brother", and then they did, boring story.... unless you were there.

I can't wait to here this in concert!

I was there the 1st day in Chicago so I didnt hear this one. I should've went to both concerts coz theres songs I wished I would've heard from both. Damn my friend for shootin me down for the chance to see both, damn this economy. Oh well, I'm glad for what I did hear. "Man of the Hour" was truly AMAZING!!!
