This is one of my favorite PJ songs. It has special significance to me because I was at the SLC show when they debuted it. I remember Ed throwing a Zippo lighter to Mike to use during the song. The song wasn't even released at this point. At the 7/18/09 San Francisco show, which I was able to attend, they played the song. Ed told a story about how Mike had asked Ed if he could keep the lighter, and Ed said 'No', because it belonged to his grandfather or someone close. But he said he had recently found it in a drawer or something and told Mike that he was going to give it to him, that he should have it. Very cool moment during the SF show. I believe the song was written in or near SF after Ed became ill and had to bow out in the middle of a show there. Jump to 9/28/09, SLC show. The theme for the concert poster by Klausen is Red Mosquito. It's one of the coolest posters he's designed. I don't know if they remembered the song had debuted in SLC or not, but to me, it all fit together very nicely. This band is the best!
