Especially today, I am taking a moment to remember the nine friends we lost at Roskilde, ten years ago.
These friends were just like us - lovers of good music.
In my personal experience of attending Pearl Jam shows, it is truly appreciated by the audience whenever Ed remembers by urging all of us to watch our neighbor. We all feel the connection. It is a trauma we will never forget.
I am playing Love Boat Captain once more. Thank you, Pearl Jam.
For me and my wife Peronne this was show #5 for us and every time we're astonished with how much enthusiasm you guys play!!
But there's has to be a critical note...The setlist was as Thijs said to short! ( and Peronne missed Back)
But anyway we had a great evening with lots of warm feelings from your music.Thanks for spicing up our lives!!!
What a great festival and what a tremendous headliner you guys have been yesterday.
Starting off with Evolution was a real burner and then followed one all time favourite after the other and I mean it including all the new material. Sorry that amongst the waves didn't match in the short showcase.
Anyway, for me the concert was an emotional rollercoaster: complete overwhelming during the first three songs, than gettin into it and finally there was nothing else but music. Magnificent night.
I am very happy to have been part of this and i'd like to say there is a sun, there is a god and this god is called music.
Thanx for makin it possible to feel save in a sea of souls of your music. I am looking very much forward to the show in Berlin on wednesday...
I am thankful for the weather, the great crowd and of course Pearl Jam. With every show I see the pleasure of playing together and interacting with your fans. Mike seemed to really enjoy the fans in his corner.
PJ show #8 for me, and despite the festival curfew, the set was FANTASTIC!!! Opening with Evolution... Unthought Known is a live scorcher and Just Breathe... my girlfriend and I were in tears!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU guys for the high energy performance at Rockin' Park yesterday!!! And Eddie, your Dutch sounds good! Wish to see you back in Holland next year.
