Was the best gig I've ever seen!!! I missed out on grabbing a smashed up tambourine off ya Eddie by a couple of hands in the front left stage section. Nearly a perfect night, just needed state of love and trust and it would have been perfect! I guess i'll just have to go to your next concert in NZ,,, I hope that's sooner rather than later! you guys are my heros and I love you all!!! P.S. Come to Gisborne!!!!
...and we're holding you to coming back sooner than 11 years! Next time, play Western Springs in Auckland - it's far nicer than Mt. Smart and crummy Penrose.
Just grabbed the digital download (dd) - it's fantastic to be able to hear such a great recording of the night itself, the dd gets you right into the music without the overly strong bass and crowd noise of the live gig. Thanks again PJ for an excellent night. You have to be the strongest live players - I listen more to my collection of live bootlegs more than the recorded albums. Just wish I could get a bootleg of the last time I saw you, 1993 in Brixton, London!
Fantastic show. Second time I have seen PJ, but this blew the first one away. Eddie has to be the coolest guy on the planet. Love, Reign O'er Me was just extraordinary. Can't wait for the digital download. Any idea when we'll get it, btw?

This was such an amazing brilliant concert. EVERY show from every other band I have seen does not compare to how amazing this was. Kiss, Alice Cooper, Ozzie Osbourne, Rage Against the Machine, Muse, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers; Pearl Jam you take the number one spot. Truly awesome guys
I was given the guitar picks after passing out during Ben Harper! I was sitting at the St John's area wrapped up in a hosptial sheet and 'someone' magically appeared beside me and told me they hoped I would feel better for Pearl Jam's set and handed me the picks. I'm not selfish, trust me, you wouldnt have given these away to strangers if you had seen who gave them to me! Totally agree if they had been thrown into the auidence ones though.

Friday night was the best concert of my life. I wish I had got ChCh tickets too. Thank you so much PJ for caring about people who love your music. I got 3 guitar picks and they feel like blocks of gold. I wish there were better words than 'thank you'. Arohanui xx

In Adelaide, a guy landed two of Mike's picks... without a thought he turned to the stranger next to him, and gave him one.
We saw similar selflessness in Melbourne, where I was lucky enough for one to land in my sweaty palm in the front row. If I had somehow scored another one, I would have quickly passed it to another fan who wasn't so lucky.
