Maybe the Ten CLub could send an embedded link to any Ten C member who got their tickets to the show through the fanclub? It was a personal message for Chief O'Brien afterall so not good to have it in the public domain!
By any chance will we ever get to see the Happy Birthday video for Brendan? Would love to see that properly, there's a few on youtube that were taken from phones filmed from the crowd but would love to see the proper video!
By the way, I couldn't think of a great way to describe the concert in Belfast, so I'll use my Brother in-law's description - 'Awesome is such a crap word to sum up just how amazing the set was.'
I hope that say's it all, what a fantastic night :)
Great concert, best of the 12 I've seen. Got to see EV afterward. My girl shook his hand, I could feel the wind between his and mine as he somehow missed me! Loved the setlist and the connection with the crowd that was achieved.
The best concert ever seen...
the best moment was when they played LEASH for my request! one of the happiest moments of my life...
thank you guys, i'll never thank you enough..
What a night, what a setlist!! A first for me two Pearl Jam concerts one after the other would have loved to have travelled to London but cash constraints and all that! Enjoyed both gigs for different reasons. Even the couple of assholes in my vicinity couldn't spoil it!!! And the spainish/south american guy with the curly hair and moustache was on a different planet.
Not going to be able to forget these two nights for a long time!!
I concur(sp), my 11 yr old son now knows PJ's music very well cause all the live boots he hears...He really don't know the studio lps prior to riot act do to his age...so when another not so popular goodie like "No Way" gets played..., i get pumped when i see the set list knowing he'll get to hear it/know it very soon...We've tried playing the older studio lp's...he just responds much better to the live shows...His fav's are OFF he goes, i am mine, grievence, animal just to name a few...viva la PJ
last night's show was awesome! 4th time seeing pearl jam and possibly my favorite show! can barely walk today though our legs are so sore haha! we got to the arena at about 3pm and got our tickets, queued for what seemed like ages but it was worth it as we got a really good spot in the front row in front of mike - we always end up in front of mike! we did suffer for our spot though, 2 german guys spent the entire night trying to push us and anyone near us out of the way!! we also had a great view of backstage, seen eddie having a smoke at one point, the guys hiding behind an amp watching ben harper, and the band coming on and going off stage each time! got some brilliant photos. didn't get a plectrum or set list but got pearl jam's schedule :D nearly bounced over the railings when eddie came over to our side, what a brilliant night! favorite song of the night was No Way xox
Hope yis all had an awesome show. I know I fucking did. Turned up at the venue at 2.50pm. Stood in line at box office with my mate Mark. I noticed tour buses parked up in full view so took a nosey. Ended up talking to one of the drivers for a min. So as soon me and my mate had our tix we mooched around to the security gate. Few fans were there. A roadie got off the bus, and when we all said hey, he handed out a few plectrums. We were all chuffed. I asked one of the security guys if we were wasting our time hanging about, and he was like "its your life". 2 mins later the security gate opened and a blacked-out mercedes mini bus pulls in. Could barely see anything through the wondows, except a guy wearing a baseball cap. (Jeff? I dared not think it). Doors open and.... Matt, Mike, Stone, Boom, Eddie and Jeff all get off. Legs are turning to jelly at this stage.
Stone walked straight on into the venue, but Mike was straight over to sign stuff. I got my ticket signed by him and had a good 40-50 second conversation with him, asking him how the show the night before was for him and his sound beiing okay. Then Eddie came over and i shook his hand and asked him to thank the band for the last 20 years (i was fierce nervous right?!?) and also shook Matt's hand. He told me to be careful and not shake his hand off!
And with that they were gone. Me and my bro in arms, went back to town for some beers on such a high. Then when we got back to the venue around 6.15 we got right up the front bar one row. Big up to the lad from Bandon, the 3 girls from the USA and the other guy and girl from Dublin. We were right in front of Mike and as usual he gave it his all. So much interaction, and I got a good few nods and recognition of our earlier encounter. And also another plectrum. They had backspacer artwork on them.
My wife and I have come from Walton, NY to see this show, can't wait! First time seeing them outside the US. we are psyched. We've seen them @ SPAC in 2000, Continental Arena in NJ, 2006, Madison Square Garden, 2008, Eddie, SOLO in Albany last year and now this! Yeah! So psyched! Is the 10 club doing anything @ this show?

Thank you guys, after Verona 2000, Manchester 2009, now Belfast 2010! Great setlist, great show, great emotions...
Love Pearl Jam
My 16th PJ concert and an absolute stunner of a show. I thought manchester last year was great but this topped the lot. A band in the zone.

Best gig ever?
Possibly.
Whats your thoughts on this.
They are in the groove. Absolutely immense. Out of this world.
Superb.
